Monthly Business Meeting – Sept 4th
Thanks to those who attended! We are on track in all areas. We are mapped out through December but will take movie and craft circle suggestions for Spring semester.
The next meeting is October 2 at 12:30 PM in Room 9 at First Unitarian Church of Orlando.
Sewing Workshop — Sept 16 & 17th
Please email to tell us which class you want a spot in and so we have enough shared supplies on hand. Cost for the weekend is $10. While space allows nobody will be turned away for lack of funds.
Non-sewers welcome. We have sewing buddies and sewing machines to loan for the day.
Mabon Ritual — Sept 24th
Please bring your percussion instruments and you potluck dish!
Tarot Class Registration is Open.
Please email to reserve you spot. Cost is $30 for 10 classes. It’s ok if you cannot make them all or if you want to be an online student via Facebook. We do need to know how many books to order and how many study guides to make for people.

We are excited about the upcoming “cloaks and robes” workshop!
Directions for the Beginner 3 Seam Cloak Directions are now available as a PDF.
When you come to the workshop, you will have guidance through each step. In ten steps you can have a new cloak! You can also print and make it on your own at home.
Join us for this special weekend sewing workshop and learn how to create your own cotton garments for pagan ritual, Halloween, or just for fun!
WHO
Non-sewers and experienced sewers are both welcome.
We have a limited number of loaner sewing machines. BYO machine and extension cords if you can.

Please wash and dry all fabrics before class. |

Annual Business Meeting
Annual elections were held. We welcome returning officers and a new historian! Those in attendance also renewed membership and friend forms. All are welcome to participate in Mystic Grove at the level they wish.

Scholarship Fund
Donations are welcome to support us in our work. Most of our events are free or low cost. We maintain a “scholarship” fund to help those who wish to attend our tuition classes and need the fees waived. If you would like to contribute to the “Scholarship Fund” please mail a check payable to “First Unitarian Church of Orlando” with “Mystic Grove Scholarship Fund” in the memo line.

Volunteer opportunities typically are in areas such as
Spontaneous helpers “on the day” are always welcome. Just show up early at 6 PM and ask the ritual leader where you can assist. Many hands make light work!
MG ANNIVERSARY AND CUUPS MEMBERSHIP
Mystic Grove is celebrating 15 years as a group this year!
In June 2016 the Mystic Grove also became a member of The Covenant of Unitarian Universalist Pagans (CUUPS).
CUUPS is an organization dedicated to networking Pagan-identified Unitarian Universalists (UUs), educating people about Paganism, promoting interfaith dialogue, developing Pagan liturgies and theologies, and supporting Pagan-identified UU religious professionals.
We will be working on updating our Charter to meet CUUPS requirements over the course of the year.

Lunar Circle Celebrations are limited to 10 adults and require registration. Fourth friday of the month. 7 PM start. New groups form every 6 mos.
